Getting authorised
This page is for firms interested in becoming authorised by the FSA to sell connected travel insurance.
You can send in your application to be authorised now. See below for how to apply.
Chapter 3 of our CTI consultation paper sets out the options available to your firm if you want to sell connected travel insurance after FSA regulation begins on 1 January 2009. These options are also covered in our frequently asked questions.
Application pack

Application and on-going fees
If you want to become authorised by the FSA you will have to pay an application fee and then, once authorised, ongoing annual fees.
Application fee
The application fee is a one-off non refundable fee towards our costs of processing the application. The fee is £1,500.
Annual fees
Once authorised there is an annual fee to cover the FSA's costs of regulating CTI. There will also be fees to help fund the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
