How to contact the smaller insurers team

From April the supervision of smaller insurers will no longer be undertaken by a single team.

The prudential and conduct supervision areas of your firm will be supervised by separate business units: the Prudential Business Unit (PBU) and the Conduct Business Unit (CBU). Both the PBU and the CBU will be supported by one customer contact centre. The contact centre will help you understand our regulatory requirements. To contact them, please phone 0845 606 9966.

General insurance, life insurance and composite insurers with prudential queries should email Prudential_RetailLife2@fsa.gov.uk

General insurance firms with conduct queries should email Conduct_GI@fsa.gov.uk

Life insurance firms with conduct queries should email Conduct_RetailLife@fsa.gov.uk

Composite insurance firms with conduct queries will have been told what CBU area they fall in (GI or life).  If you are unsure, please contact the contact centre.
