The Performance Account - 2003/04
The Performance Account is designed to provide additional information (alongside the 2003/04 Annual Report) on our performance for the year.
This was first published last year, based on our previous Strategic Framework and comprised 3 strands (High Level Indicators, Key Priorities and Service Standards.)
During the past year we have made substantial changes to our Strategic Framework and as a result the High Level Indicators we published last year are now less directly relevant. We are therefore considering how best to assess the FSA's high level performance.
We have, however, continued to undertake the research on consumer understanding of the UK's regulatory regime and this paper is listed below.
In addition, we plan to publish shortly on the website more detailed information on the planned outcomes for the priorities in our 2004/05 Business Plan.
Information regarding our performance on Key Priorities (i.e. the most important areas we stated we would focus on in our 2003/04 Strategic Plan) is contained within the Annual Report.
The FSA's performance against Service Standards are detailed below.
In addition to these we have introduced some new service standards and improved some of the standards already in the performance account. For more information about these see the update.
