A former mortgage adviser, Simon Robert Gray, date of birth 30 September 1967 of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk today pleaded guilty at City of Westminster Court to 5 offences of providing misleading information to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and 4 offences of using a false instrument contrary to section 3 of the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981.  The case has been adjourned until 17 November for preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Mr Gray has been charged because he provided false and misleading information about his fitness and propriety to the FSA and used forged documentation in his applications to become an appointed representative and a director of two mortgage advice firms respectively.
