Latest progress report
This report is an update on the progress firms have made on having appropriate management information (MI) or measures in place to test whether they are treating their customers fairly.
We have summarised the parts of the report relevant to small firms. This includes information on how we assess small firms and some case studies illustrating some good practice that we have identified, including a Matrix that maps TCF MI and measures to the relevant TCF outcomes.
Background
In January 2008, we launched our small firms Enhanced Strategy which aims to help small firms achieve the TCF outcomes.
We do not intend to publish small firm results from the Enhanced Strategy until later into the programme. However, early signs from our first regional assessments are encouraging. We are seeing much greater awareness and engagement on TCF from small firms and, as we knew already, once small firms are engaged they can make quick progress on TCF.
