GABRIEL Activation details
As previously advised, to ensure smooth implementation we will be staggering the issuing of the activation emails between 26 August and 30 September 2008. The email release date will depend on when your firm is required to submit returns on GABRIEL (based on your accounting reference date).
Phase 1 firms that are subject to reporting via GABRIELLA will receive there activation emails between 1 – 15 September 2008. However a small number of GABRIELLA who have a submission due date between 26 August 2008 to 1 September 2008, inclusive, will receive their activation details on 26 August 2008.
Submitting GABRIELLA data again via GABRIEL
Previously, for the Phase 1 GABRIELLA firms, we requested that you re-submit the GABRIELLA data on GABRIEL after 26 August 2008. However, to ease system demand, we would be grateful if you could now re-submit between 15 – 29 September 2008.
When will reporting end on the Early Reporting System (ERS)?
For all firms currently submitting data items FSA003 (Capital Adequacy), FSA004 (Credit Risk) and FSA011 (Building Society Liquidity) via the ERS:
- firms with reporting period end date on or before the 24 August 2008 should submit their data via ERS by the normal due date;
- firms with reporting period end date on or after 25 August 2008 should submit their data via GABRIEL.
E.g. If a firm's reporting period ends on 15 August 2008 and has 20 business days to complete the data item FSA003, it will have until the 15 September 2008 to submit the FSA003 via ERS
