This section of the site is dedicated to Approved Persons and Appointed Representatives. We will also be using this section to regularly update you with regards to policy issues and amendments.
ONA is the FSA’s new web based system that allows firms to submit the regulatory applications / notifications.
ONA has been available to firms to use on a voluntary basis since 7th June 2010. The benefit of ONA to firms is that you be able to submit your changes online and track the progress of these, which will result in a quicker end to end process.
We just wanted to ensure that you were aware that from the 4th October 2010 it will be mandatory for firms to submit forms via ONA for the following processes.
- Approved Persons
- Appointed Representatives
- Variations of permissions
- Passports
- Cancellations
- Waivers
- Standing data
We will not be accepting paper submission of these forms after the 4th October 2010. If you have not already done so, you should register to use ONA in the near future. When you register you will be given a unique ONA user name and password, user names and passwords for GABRIEL and Firms Online will not work with ONA.
