Asset Management Conference

Aim
This year's Asset Management Conference will consider the major trends and regulatory issues affecting the sector. Sessions will include: the impact of the credit crunch on asset managers; substitute investment products; trading and dark liquidity pools; funds of hedge funds and hedge fund replication; shareholder engagement and activist investing; and the valuation of complex and illiquid instruments. There will be workshops on ICAAP's where FSA supervisors, technical experts and trade bodies will share good practice.
Who Should Attend?
We look forward to engaging with participants to help inform and focus our regime. In particular, the conference will be an important opportunity for senior management and regulators to discuss important lessons learned from the recent market turmoil. We expect attendance from across the sector - including discretionary, retail, hedge fund and private equity managers, trustees, custodians, depositaries, investment and compliance consultants, pension-fund advisers and trade associations.
