The management structure of the FSA is designed to support our business aims and consists of the following elements:

Management Structure elements

  • the Board, chaired by Callum McCarthy
  • the Chief Executive, Hector Sants
  • three Managing Directors, each leading a business unit - retail markets, wholesale and institutional markets, and regulatory services
  • a number of functions which report direct to the Chief Executive
  • eight 'sector leaders' - staff directors with cross-FSA responsibilities for defined sectors or issues.
