Welcome to the FSA Register
Our register is a record of all the firms, individuals and other bodies that fall under our regulatory jurisdiction under the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) and the Money Laundering Regulations 2007.
What is the register?
- It has information on all authorised firms currently doing business in the UK and the individual's within firms who are 'approved' to carry out particular functions.
- It includes UK-authorised firms and firms authorised in another European Economic Area (EEA) state that conduct business in the UK.
- Payment institutions that are or have been authorised or registered to carry out payment services under the Payment Services Regulations 2009 can be found on the 'Payment Services Firm Search' tab.
- UK consumers considering or currently doing business with an EEA firm may need further information about its complaints and compensation arrangements, as they may differ to a UK-authorised firm.
How to use the register
From the Home page, you can access the search screens for firms, payment institutions, individuals, collective investment schemes and exempt professional firms by clicking on the relevant tab. You can move between the search screens by selecting the relevant tab.
