This policy statement reports on the main issues arising from CP50. It contains the text of the rules and guidance to be included in the Interim Prudential Sourcebooks for insurance companies and friendly societies. Other aspects of those sourcebooks are being consulted upon in CP84. The full ‘final’ text for these sourcebooks will be presented with the feedback to that consultation paper.
