Application refusals - 2008
The FSA must publish such information about the matter to which a final notice relates as it considers appropriate. When FSA refuses an application by a firm under Part IV of FSMA for permission to carry on regulated activities, it will normally publish a summary of the final notice.
There is guidance on the threshold conditions, the process of applying for Part IV permission, and the statutory provisions in the Handbook - see COND, AUTH and, in connection with the publication of final notices, Chapter 6 of our Enforcement Guide (Publicity).
The FSA has given a final notice to the following firms refusing their application for Part IV permission. Click on each name to see a summary of the final notice.
