COBS Suitability Requirement
This short course is part of the COBS training package and has been designed to give you an overview of the requirements in COBS 9 - Suitability (including basic advice).
Objectives
When you have finished this course, you will be able to:
- identify the drivers behind the suitability requirements;
- specify when the suitability requirements apply and when they do not; and
- describe what an assessment of suitability entails.
Who is it for?
This course will be relevant to firms and investment business both in and out of MiFID scope.
How is the information presented?
You take the course online. Its features include:
- questions to help you understand the topics covered;
- interactive features and links so you can get extra information;
- references to the relevant parts of the Handbook; and
- audit commentary.
Duration
The course takes approximately 25 minutes. You can stop and start the course and return to it later.
