This short course has been designed to give you an overview of changes being made, due to MiFID, in the senior management arrangements and the systems and controls (SYSC) sourcebook.

It looks at the introduction of the common platform, the new SYSC chapters that apply to firms within MiFID and/or the CRD.

Who is it for?

This course has been designed for firms falling within the scope of MiFID and/or the CRD. It will therefore be relevant to most medium-to-large investment firms and asset managers. However, it will not be relevant for firms falling outside the scope of these directives, including smaller firms who are exempt.

How is the information presented?

You take the course online. Its features include:

• questions to help you understand the topics covered;
• interactive features and links so you can get extra information;
• links to relevant parts of the legislation and our website; and
• audio commentary.

Duration

The course takes approximately 25 minutes. You can stop and start the course and return to it later.
