How do I get authorised?
To apply to become directly authorised by the FSA a firm needs to submit an application to us. We will assess the application and advise the firm of the decision.

Firms undertaking Sale and Rent Back activities
Firms that:
- are currently interim authorised to undertake Sale and Rent Back (SRB) activities, and wish to continue to do so, after the FSA interim regulation period ends on 30 June 2010; or
- are not currently authorised and intend to apply for authorisation for SRB business on or after the full authorisation of SRB activities begins on 30 June 2010

Change of Legal Status
For an existing authorised firm wishing to change its legal status only.
This pack enables the existing authorised firm to cancel its permission at the same time as it applies for authorisation.
