Application for listing
All issuers wishing to apply for Listing should complete an Application for Admission of Securities form. The information included in this form will vary depending on the securities being listed. All issuers will also need to review Chapter 3 of the Listing Rules, which sets out the listing application requirements for admission of securities to listing.
Before an Issuer or its adviser submits its application to Listing Applications, a Listing Hearing should be booked by contacting the Listing Applications Team in writing. The Listing Hearing needs to be held prior to admission and should be booked so as to take place at least 48 hours after the formal approval of any related prospectus or circular.
When a listing hearing is booked online and has been agreed by the UKLA, the issuer will receive email confirmation of the booking. The Listing Applications team does not confirm the hearing date if the booking is made by fax.
Visit the Listing hearings page for further information.
Submission
The Issuer or its advisers should then submit the following items, in hard copy, by email or by fax:
- the Admission of Securities Form;
- the Application Fee;
- the required Application documents; and
- any other such information that the UKLA may require pursuant to LR 3.2.2 (2)
For more information see Application documents.
The requirements for applying for Listing are set out in Listing Rules Chapter 3.
