LIFFE/FSA Transaction Feed
Firms wishing to rely on the LIFFE/FSA transaction feed for transaction reporting of derivatives traded on LIFFE or through Bclear must inform the FSA of their desire to do so by writing to:
The Manager
Transaction Monitoring Unit
Market Division
Financial Services Authority
25 The North Colonnade
Canary Wharf
London E14 5HS
Reporting firms should note that the feed will only provide the FSA with reports of transactions executed through the exchange central order book or through Bclear in derivatives which are admitted to trading on the exchange. Transactions in derivatives which are not admitted to trading on the exchange (e.g. options with non exchange strike prices or maturity dates) must be reported separately. Only principle transactions will be reported to the FSA so if a firm executes on behalf of a client this transaction must also be reported separately to the FSA.
