This section of the website explains how to build a connection to the GABRIEL direct submission gateway and how to format an XML instance containing regulatory data for both direct submission and web upload. It is aimed at IT professionals with a knowledge of XML at firms and Independent Software Vendors.

The Data Reference Guide describes the XML format of the actual regulatory data that is required under Mandatory Electronic Reporting for each data item set out in the FSA Handbook. The Technical Pack describes how this data is then "wrapped" up into an XML instance for direct submission through the GABRIEL Gateway or for loading into GABRIEL's online forms using Web Upload. The Technical Pack consists of a number of documents and XML files. You can view the individual documents and files associated with the Technical Pack online, or download a zip file containing everything.

The latest additions and changes to the Technical Pack have been published on 18 June 2008 - there have been no updates since then. The DRG Technical Pack change log explains the additions and changes since the first components were published on 13 February 2008.
