The Training and Competence sourcebook
The rules are available from the Handbook section of the website. Our purpose is to set the standards of training and competence that firms should reach. We expect firms to make their own arrangements for effective implementation.
Examination Review
The Financial Services Skills Council will be taking forward the examination review.
Appropriate Examinations
A list of appropriate examinations can be found on the FSSC website.
Interim Approved Examinations
The annexes containing the interim-approved examinations, which came into force on 1 December 2001, were deleted from the Training and Competence sourcebook on 1 July 2004. The annexes as they were on 30 June 2004 can be viewed below. These lists reflect those examinations approved by the self-regulating organisations before 30 November 2001 (N2) with some amendments.
