Although we are not able to disclose data about individual firms, we do collect information which indicates industry trends. As you can see, the number of complaints firms have received about mortgage endowments has increased and the amount of compensation paid has also gone up.

** We widened the scope of data collection following our July 2005 publication Mortgage Endowments: Progress report and next steps. So figures for 1 April – 30 June 05 are based on around 70% of firms in the market and on around 90% of firms in the market for 1 July 05 – 31 March 06.
