Sector Teams

 

 

Simon Begley

Simon joined the FSA in July 1998, initially as part of the PIA Pensions Review. Since then he has worked in wholesale markets policy, leading on credit risk mitigation, before joining the sector team in February 2005 where he leads the FSA's policy work in areas such as financial inclusion and consumer debt.

Colin Kinloch

Colin joined the FSA as part of its 2005 graduate intake. He has worked in insurance supervision and internal audit, joining the sector team in October 2007. Before coming to the FSA, Colin worked as a researcher for John McFall MP, Chairman of the Treasury Select Committee.

Jamie Bell

Jamie joined the FSA in October 2007. His previous roles include two years at the Association of British Insurers, where he worked on financial crime policy, and seven years at the CBI, where he worked on a variety of issues including employment, pensions and manufacturing policy.

Sarah Hatcher

Sarah joined the FSA from financial consulting firm Higham Dunnett Shaw in June 2006, working on FSA policy for unit linked life and pension funds. Currently on secondment at HM Treasury working on the Government's financial inclusion action plan, Sarah joins the sector team in spring 2008.

Shelley Cross

Shelley joined the FSA in 2005 working in the Unfair Contract Terms team before joining the sector team in late 2006. She is currently seconded to the FSA's PPI project team and is due to rejoin the sector in April 2008.
